Some of you many know that I am an instructor at a local camera store, but did you know that I also do workshops for the Sackville Photography Club and on my own. As well as the workshops I do private tutoring. A member of the Sackville Club, Diane, asked me if I could teach her how to do a family portrait of her daughter and children.
When I got on location, I determined that the area in which we were going to photograph was too narrow so I went with the 53″ seamless as the background. The length of the room was good for shooting so we did have enough room to get the subjects ahead of the background light. The image that you see to the right is one of three tests shots I made while getting the camera tethered to the notebook.
Diane had alot of fun capturing images of her family and there were alot of great ones. If they get posted online I will provide a link to them so that you can see her results. I did get a chance to take a few more images myself so if you click on the image to the right you will see them. Thank you Diane, I had a fantastic time tutoring you as you captured images of your wonderful family.
